I teach 7th Grade Language Arts. My school is trying to get off of the state's take over list.

My students have shown an interest in the novels written by Sharon Draper. They are able to relate to her writings in so many ways.

My students love to read Sharon Draper novels and having these resources will be a great help. Also, a subscription to Weekly Reader's Current Events magazine will help us. The key to trying to improve reading skills is to choose texts that the students enjoy.

The students are making great progress thus far. They are now in good standing with the state. I want ensure that this progress continues. Help a class in need!
