I am a new teacher of Social Studies at a struggling school who is suffering with some of the lowest test scores in the state. I was hired to help improve this situation. The number one thing we need to be successful is a LCD Projector. I have secured a computer with Internet access and now am in need of a projector. I have already created powerpoints that incorporate primary sources like pictures, maps, graphs, United Streaming videos, and internet links to various sites. To complete this goal we just need a LCD Projector. Although it is costly, there is no greater way to impact every student I teach every day. If you want the most bang for your buck, this is a perfect situation.

Our students are facing some of the greatest obstacles with very limited resources. There is a silver lining to this story. The community has realized the need and have approved new buildings and additional funding. However, this will not have an impact for a few years and we need your help now. Please do not allow another student to slip through the cracks of our system. Please help today.

I am transferring from a school, where I was budget cut, but I experienced first hand how technology can greatly impact student learning. I think a LCD has the greatest impact on students' education because it allows them to hear, see, read, and organize information. I create awesome powerpoints that are priceless in their impact.
