High School Seniors! I love them. I have them as juniors, too, so by the time their senior year roles around, we know each other well. It's probably no surprise that many of them want to be done with school so they can get on with the rest of their lives ... but, that's just it ... so many are unsure of what the rest of their life will be. That's why I love working with them, I love to be that sounding board as they bounce around ideas of college, vocation. We are a tiny, tiny, tiny school, and many students are low income. So many of my students have never been 50 miles away from home. I try my best to get them excited about the new world they will enter as graduates. And, this new world is a digital world where tech skills are expected!

I want to expose my students to as many of the 21st century skills that I can. In this world of podcasting and blogging, reading, writing, speaking, and listening become ever more important.

Access to a pair of digital cameras would be another medium for students to get their "voice" into the 21st century world. They've podcasted. They've blogged. Now I want them to be authors of digital stories ... their writing, their voice, their photos.

Your help will ensure that my students have full-fledged exposure to the skills they need to be active participants in a digital world (while continuing to hone those skills of reading and writing and speaking!)
