My students need to immerse themselves in great literature. A great collection has a variety of genres, reading levels, topics, and interests for students to find books that are just right.

Literacy is vital for success. My fourth and fifth graders have the opportunity to work at an accelerated pace in a magnet program designed to be embedded in the public school setting. What a way to meet the needs of high-risk students!

These "accelerated magnet" students have the opportunity to grow in literature and truly appreciate its value. They are eager to experience rich literature, but need a plethora of books to help.

The books I have chosen contain a variety of genres including fairy tales, historical fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. There's no better way to improve reading skills than by simply reading!

Your kind donation is vital to the language development of my students. Many students are raised in homes with parents who have received minimal education. It's time to break the negative cycle of poor literacy and allow students to grow and mature in their love and appreciation for literature.
