Does a picture tell a thousand words? If so, then my 28 fifth graders will be speaking volumes. I teach an all-inclusive, self-contained class in North Carolina.

This year we've been challenged with finding innovative ways to incorporate technology into every subject in order to meet the needs of 21st century learners.

My students need 4 digital cameras to use in a small group setting during writing workshop. They will write original stories and then use the camera to create their illustrations. Once the photos are selected and printed, their stories go to print and are published.

Your help with this endeavor will ensure that my students are using technology as a means to create and explore the world around them.
