Making Memories With A Digital Camera

I teach kindergarten. During the year we record our activities and create a class memory book with student/community photos, art, and classwork.

Young children enjoy looking at pictures of themselves, then writing and telling about them. Along with student work, parents and community helpers are photographed when helping with activities and can share in the making of our books. We need a new digital camera to help complete our memory books.

The memory books that we create in our classroom help to improve writing, promote parent and community involvement, as well as increase students motivation and self-esteem.

We would greatly appreciate a digital camera to help us share our memories with parents and our community.
