My spectacular second graders need to work toward a University Education, and need exposure to different professions.

Putting myself in my students shoes is very easy. I grew up in a poor neighborhood and saw very little opportunity, and very few careers that I could aspire to pursue. I want to open up the world of opportunities for my students. They would only get a glimpse, but it would at least give them a chance to see why they are working so hard. They would see that everything they do has a purpose and will give them a better future.

I found wonderful resources that could make careers come alive for my students. These career puppets (most of them) depict professions that require a University Education. Along with them, I also found a poster pack and books that would allow the students to learn more about the professions. The product of their learning will be the craft people that depict their profession of choice.

Your generosity will help students develop an appreciation for hard work in the classroom and visualize the possible careers that their effort and dedication can one day become a reality.
