This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Who knew that making words could be so much fun?! I teach kindergarten in a high-risk poverty area with a large English language learner population.

My students come into my classroom without much word and letter exposure and making and building words and sentences can seem pretty scary!

I want to provide my students with the tools to creatively explore building words in a setting that is fun and relaxed.

Your assistance will help me to create an environment for my students where they can take appropriate and exciting risks with words and create a solid foundation for literacy learning!
