Hello. Thank you for taking the time to read about my classroom. I am a middle school computer teacher in a large inner city school that was reconstituted last year. I was part of the new staff that was brought in to turn the school onto the success track for education. I know how to motivate my students to achieve great things but I need your help. My students are 25% special needs students.

The situation is that I need to bring our computer research and compositions to life. I have the online web subscriptions to provide enriching material to the students. However, once they complete their research and documents, they have a strong desire to publish their work. I need a color laser printer to allow them to publish their work.

The printer I have selected is networked, which means teachers and students throughout the school will be able to use the printer for a myriad of educational purposes. The color laser will allow us to produce not only quality documents but also it is also an economical way to produce a volume of material that is necessary to make a significant impact on student achievement.

Your contribution to fund this laser printer will truly make a difference to the staff and students of our school. Without Donorschoose and generous contributors like yourself, this resource would just not be available. There is not budget for this type of equipment in our school. The laser printer I am requesting will have a wide reaching impact in our school for years to come. Papers will be printed and posted in classrooms and hallways. Colorful awards will be distributed at honor assemblies and through out the year. At our honor assemblies we try to give every student some award for participation or improvement so that every student feels their efforts were recognized. Thank you for supporting my classroom curriculum and school wide achievement goals.
