Learn to Listen, Listen to Learn

My students need a listening center with six headphones to help them with their phonics and language skills. They will use the listening center to help build upon their vocabulary and their reading skills. This will also truly benefit all of my students, especially my students who have learning disabilities.

Excited first graders, jumping for joy, hoping to be amazing listeners with their new listening center!

We are a culturally diverse first grade classroom where we engage in differentiated instruction, therefore working with children who have a vast variety of abilities. A listening center would help all of them with their phonics, language and reading. This would be an amazing addition to our classroom, since we do not have the money to obtain this, we even have the perfect spot to use it in our classroom.

A listening center with 6 headphones will help all of my students with their different abilities to achieve a positive phonics learning center to help them have an outstanding and positive learning experience in first grade.

First grade is such and important grade this is the time we teach our students how to read and write. Each student learns differently and that is the reason I would love to have a listening center in our classroom; so that each student would have the opportunity to help with phonics, language and reading. I want all of my students to absolutely love reading and having this resource is so important and would be a fantastic addition to our room
