I have the privilege of teaching a wonderful group of students who are eager to learn about what music is, how it is made and what historical foundations brought us to the exciting juncture of music in today's society. My students look forward to implementing this knowledge with their performance, as shown on Friday nights on the football field, Saturday afternoons at marching contests and nervous competitions on stage during concert seasons. My students are dedicated, excited and ready to learn more. They can-- with your help!

Making music come alive is vital - whether it is classical selections from the masters to pop tunes on the radio. But to make music come alive, I need the tools necessary to bring multimedia into the classroom. I can do this with an LCD projector. This technology would open up the entire online community to my students. The resources are available online... but my means to share them with my students is what is not available.

I need an LCD projector that will allow me to share multimedia with my students. Because of the number of students in my music classes, it is not feasible to show presentations and other multimedia with a regular computer monitor or laptop. An LCD projector would bring my lessons alive to the whole class - creating a meaningful musical experience for all students.

According to research studies published by MENC (professional music organization), music provides students with opportunities for personal fulfillment, academic advantage and post-secondary education. By enhancing my instruction (via multimedia presentations using an LCD projector), I will provide students with increased opportunities for success. Please help me provide a quality music experience at my school. The effects of your generous donation will be felt by many students for many years!
