My students need brine shrimp eggs, brine shrimp (mature), ferns, and algae to study the life cycle.

I have 4 autistic 11th graders and one 10th grader. This aquarium serves us well in covering our curriculum requirements. It also does wonders to assist them in relaxing and interacting with one another.

We have a basic environment and need more organisms to liven up and maintain the habitat. Feeding the fish and logging their behaviors create a great self-esteem building task. The students struggle to relax and the sights and sounds of the aquarium provide much needed deescalating stimuli as well.

We need the materials necessary to maintain and build the fish community. All of these materials are essential for future projects that will enhance their ability to have such a cathartic device at their disposal. They will learn skills for a lifetime that will assist them to relax after a trying day of work or leisure.

Your help will ensure that these citizens prosper and develop the skills necessary to live a healthy and joyous life.
