Chemistry is way cool!

My students need a class set of 40 calculators so everyone has a chance to use them and learn.

We can calculate! I teach 11th grade chemistry to 9-12 grade students. Some are from low-socioeconomic families, some are ESOL students, and some are ESE students. The vast majority are struggling just to stay in school.

Most of my students can't afford a calculator along with all their other school supplies. Imagine trying to do advanced math with no help! With guidance and some motivation, these students will complete their work. When it comes to math, we all share the one coveted calculator.

To solve the math problem, we need calculators! The only way to learn math is to do it! With a class set of calculators, all students will be given the opportunity to learn the real applications of chemistry.

Your generous donation will ensure all students get a fair chance at learning and becoming a more well-rounded student.
