Visual Technology for Visual Learners

My students, who are in a self-contained behavior classroom, need a document camera in order to optimize their skills as visual learners in a technological world.

Research shows that students with ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional disturbance learn best through visual means.

Our classroom is brand new to the school and is in dire need of technology to support the educational needs of my students.

A document camera will allow my students to to have visual cues in regards to assignments, directions, and projects. They will also have the opportunity to present their own work to the class and have clear images of picture books.

Supporting my students will ensure that they are receiving a learning environment that is catering to their unique needs and highlighting their abilities, rather than their disabilities.
