Saving dissecting specimen through virtual dissection. I teach 10th-12th grade science at an alternative school which provide continued education for students removed from their home school due to infraction of severe insubordination.

Students show much interest in technology. These materials will give teacher a more effective way of giving input and modeling lessons through technology. The projector and wall screen technology will be used for virtual dissections which our students are unable to participate in the customary way (scapula's, dissecting pins, probes, and other dissection instruments). This will give my students the same opportunity to perform dissections but in a different way.

The projector and wall screen are needed to provide teacher with tools necessary for students to observe information from the Internet (virtual dissection), PowerPoint presentations, and content related videos in one place and large enough for every student to see.

Your help will ensure that all my students have the opportunity to be exposed to content information and technology they don't have access to. By funding this project you will be increasing the level of knowledge of my students by taking them to places they never thought they would go. By use of the projector and wall screen, my students can take a trip inside the human body without leaving their seats, dissect a frog and give an explanation of the similarities and differences of other organisms compared to the human body.
