Reading rocks in second grade at Sullivan! I am the Literacy Leader at our wonderful nurturing school. Many of of children do not have books at home. A Weekly reader subscription will provide them with an opportunity to improve their fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary.

Our second grade students need all the motivation they can get to improve their reading skills. Your donation to Weekly Reader will provide our youngsters with interesting and enjoyable reading material.

I will need 150 Weekly Reader subscriptions to enhance our second grade literacy block. Next year we will have 5 second grade classrooms with approximately 150 students.

Your donation will make it possible for our second grade teachers to provide their students with a wonderful way to enhance their reading program. We want our second graders to realize the importance of reading in their lives. We also want them to know that other people agree that READING ROCKS!
