Our students are artists, they love to create! Our students are also very giving, and would give a gift every week if they could.
We have 92 third grade students who we would like to create a gift for their parents around this upcoming giving season.
Every year we try to do this project, but in recent years the glass plates have gotten very expensive. We as teachers have started paying for these plates on our own. We would love to continue to do this project because giving is a wonderful thing for our students to learn.
My Project
These glass plates are fun and exciting to create. Each plate is covered with tissue paper that our students pick out. Some are multi-colored while others are single colored. We love how each plate is unique and has a different pattern. This project lights up our students eyes and is a perfect gift to give to our parents during the holiday season. Our students really look forward to this project and we love doing it with them. They also wrap them in their own created wrapping paper and tie them with a bow. These are simply amazing to see!
