Ninth grade students need digital cameras to make movies in their Introduction to Multimedia class.

The students are creating movies from pictures I provide them. As a result, they produce a movie that is about their teacher's family. The students would benefit more by creating movies with photos they capture on their own.

With these new digital cameras, the students could take their own pictures of friends and classmates. These cameras also provide the option to record video. After recording their photos and video, students will be able to upload them into the computer and import them into Windows Movie Maker. Once their photos are imported, they can begin creating their movie. Providing my classroom with these digital cameras, students will be able to create their own movies that they can share with friends and family members. They will also have the knowledge to create their own movies in the future.

Your help will ensure that my students have the opportunity to participate in a "relevant" school project that they can take with them, learning a program that they will be able continue to use in their future endeavors.
