1-2-3... Bison to the Rescue! I currently teach in a K-12 school in rural north Alabama. I am the high school health teacher and am responsible for certifying our students in CPR.
During the last twelve months there have been several unfortunate accidents within our school community. Our students have encountered losing their friends in accidents and witnessing a parent have a near-fatal heart attack on the football field. They have a hunger for more intensive first/CPR instruction.
Additional materials to assist in instructing the students in CPR and first aid would greatly benefit instruction and give them better experiences. Having two sets of the materials give us an opportunity to keep one on hand at all athletic events and leave one in the classroom at all times.
With your assistance it will make it possible for our students to be better equipped if they are faced with medical emergencies. Our rural setting and lack of supplemental funding limits our ability to provide these resources on our on.
