My Project

Have you ever had a feeling that you truly belong? That is the feeling I want all of my students to become overwhelmed with while they are with me. I see every student, in every grade, in a one week rotation. My passion for teaching and love for my students allows this sensation to take place.

My students are hungry for knowledge, food, supplies, and love.

We serve over 500+ students in the highest poverty section of North Carolina where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. We are a Title I school. I try to supply as much as I can for my students. Please Help!

Help! We have the sources of inspiration but not the materials and supplies needed.

As a teacher in a Title I school, I am use to funding coming in one year and leaving the next.

I am blessed to teach all K-2 art students. Unfortunately, art supplies are not a priority when funding is cut.

My students will hopefully create beautiful paintings but we do not have the materials and supplies to bring their creations to life. Please help us by bringing important sensory Tempera Paint sticks into the classroom for my little artists with dexterity challenges.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
