My Project

My cart has many different things to meet each child. Food and candy, of course, because if a child is hungry how can they effectively learn or function through the day. The family figurines so that each child can see someone who looks like them when they “play things out.” Feeling puppets because sometimes it’s easier to show how you feel without having to say anything. Cloud light covers for the bright hallway lights. And so much more. I want every child to have something that connects or makes them feel safe when they come into my room. My room is still and always will be a work in progress as I find new helpful things, but I feel this is a push in the perfect direction.
