This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Providing art supplies for students at Hall Woodward is essential. Our students come to us with unique challenges and needs that can sometimes leave them feeling unsuccessful. Art provides a space where every student can discover their strengths, take creative risks, and experience success.

With the right supplies, we can explore a variety of art processes and help every student find something they can be great at.

Art also connects learning across the curriculum, allowing us to incorporate math, reading, history, and science into meaningful, hands-on projects that engage different kinds of learners.

Our students deserve the opportunity to discover what they can do. They deserve color, creativity, brilliance, and the freedom to express themselves.
