Building Confident Readers Through Phonics and Fluency

My Project

My project will provide my students with engaging, hands-on phonics games that will strengthen their foundational reading skills and build their confidence as readers. My students need regular opportunities to practice letter sounds, blending, decoding CVC words, and reading with greater fluency. The phonics games I am requesting, including CVC Splash and Snap and Build Phonics Reading Fluency, will make this important practice fun and meaningful.

These games will give students opportunities to learn through play while practicing essential skills again and again.

Students can work independently, with partners, or in small groups as they build words, decode unfamiliar words, and develop automatic word recognition.

I want my students to feel successful when they encounter a new word. With these materials, they will have more opportunities to practice, make mistakes, try again, and celebrate their progress. These resources will provide the tools my students need to become stronger, more confident, and more independent readers.
