Help me give my students the opportunity to have a place where they can go calm down when they are upset, get bullied, or have experienced some trauma. This donation would help me so much.

My Project

The Bean Bag Chairs will help students feel more relaxed as they read or do Social Emotional activities. The books will help students gain skills needed to cope with the many challenges they face. With this Calm Room I hope to decrease the number of suspensions from school. My school is in a county that has the highest poverty rate, also the highest rate of illiteracy and crime. My students need a place where they can go reset, calm down and focus before they get sent to the principal or get into a fight with another student when they could have just walked away.
