Nature Reset: A Calm Space to Recharge and Refocus

Help me give my students a calming Nature Reset space with comfortable floor cushions, a secure area rug, and aromatherapy supplies to support quiet reflection, mindfulness, and stress relief.

My Project

My students are curious, hardworking young people who manage demanding classes, responsibilities, and everyday pressures. Sometimes, they simply need a quiet place to pause, breathe, and return to class ready to learn. During our Eagle Flex period, “Nature Reset” will provide a peaceful, silent environment where students can relax, reflect, and practice healthy stress-management strategies.

The outdoor-style rug will define a welcoming reset area, while the thick floor cushions will provide comfortable, flexible seating for mindfulness, quiet reading, journaling, or peaceful reflection.

The carpet tape will keep the rug securely in place and help maintain a safe space. The diffuser and essential oils will help create a gentle, nature-inspired atmosphere, when appropriate and in accordance with school health and safety guidelines.

These resources will transform an ordinary classroom area into a calming retreat where students can regulate their emotions, reduce stress, and regain focus. After a brief Nature Reset, students can return to their academic work feeling calmer, refreshed, and better prepared to learn.
