My Project

In today's fast-paced high school environment, our dual-enrolled students must prioritize balance and mental health to achieve both academic success and personal well-being. Our students often face tremendous pressure from multiple sources, including rigorous community college coursework, extracurricular activities, and social expectations, which can lead to stress and burnout.

We are adding weekly drop-in seminars to help teach students coping skills, stress management techniques, and provide activities that promote positive social interactions.

In our weekly seminars, students learn effective time management strategies that promote a balanced schedule, incorporating study time, leisure activities, and self-care practices such as exercise, meditation, or hobbies. These supplies will allow them to utilize those practices during the school day.

Additionally, creating time for open communication with peers, teachers, and counselors can establish a supportive network that helps alleviate feelings of isolation and anxiety. By recognizing the importance of mental health and actively seeking balance in their lives, our students can develop resilience and maintain a positive outlook, ultimately enhancing their overall academic performance and personal growth. Please help me provide our students with these materials to promote positive coping skills and facilitate balance, friendships, and stress-relieving experiences during these guided seminars.
