Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to create a classroom where students feel excited, comfortable, and motivated to learn each day. The resources included in this DonorsChoose project will help provide my students with classroom essentials that support both their academic growth and their overall classroom experience.

A classroom carpet will provide a comfortable and welcoming space where students can come together for whole-group lessons, class discussions, read-alouds, and collaborative learning.

It will help create a designated community space where students can focus, participate, and feel connected to their classmates.

The rolling whiteboard will give us a flexible learning space that can be used anywhere in the classroom. It will allow me to model skills, display examples, work through problems with students, and provide small-group instruction. Students will also be able to use the whiteboard to share their thinking and collaborate with their peers.

Your support will help me provide my students with the tools they need to be successful while creating a welcoming, flexible, and engaging classroom environment where every student can learn, grow, and thrive. These resources will make an immediate impact in our classroom and will be used throughout the school year to support student learning.
