Hawk Tickets: Rewarding Positive Choices & Success

My Project

At North Lenoir High School, we want our students to know that their hard work, growth, and positive choices matter. Our Hawk Ticket program gives teachers and staff an opportunity to recognize students who demonstrate academic achievement, give their best effort, show improvement, help others, follow school expectations, and contribute to a positive school environment.

Students earn Hawk Tickets when they go above and beyond both inside and outside of the classroom.

The more tickets students earn, the more opportunities students have to enter into the drawing that takes place each Friday. They can then use their tickets for small rewards and incentives, including the snacks provided through this project. These rewards give us an immediate and meaningful way to celebrate students for doing the right thing.

Through Hawk Tickets, we hope to motivate students while building a school culture centered on respect, responsibility, achievement, and Hawk pride. Every ticket is another opportunity to tell a student, “We noticed you doing something great—keep it up!”
