Empowering Math Learning Through Technology

Help me give my students engaging, interactive, and meaningful math learning experiences through technology. An iPad mini will help me bring math concepts to life through visual demonstrations, interactive activities, real-world problem solving, and digital learning tools.

My Project

The iPad Mini will be used during whole-group instruction, small-group intervention, and student-centered learning activities. The laminator will support the creation of reusable classroom materials that reinforce these lessons.

For example, students will use technology and hands-on resources to:

• Explore fractions, ratios, decimals, and percentages using visual models and manipulatives.

• Create and interpret graphs and data displays using digital tools.

• Investigate geometry through interactive models and hands-on laminated shapes.

• Use spreadsheets and apps to analyze real-world data.

• Practice mathematical problem-solving through interactive activities and task cards.

• Create digital presentations explaining their mathematical reasoning.

• Explore real-world applications of mathematics through videos and simulations.

• Use laminated practice materials for repeated skill-building and collaborative learning.

I will also use the iPad Mini to project and model mathematical thinking for the entire class, allowing students to follow each step of a problem-solving process in real time.
