My Project

In our music classroom, our students are excited to learn and play baritone ukuleles, but we need a safe and organized way to store these instruments when they are not being used.

Having proper storage will help keep our instruments safe, protected, organized, and ready for students to use.

Instead of worrying about instruments being damaged or taking up valuable classroom space, students will have a designated place to return their ukulele after each lesson.

As a teacher at a Title I school, I want to make sure my students have access to quality musical experiences and that the resources we have can be used for years to come. Our instruments are an investment in our students, and proper storage is an important part of protecting that investment.

The storage will also help students develop responsibility and ownership. Students will learn that taking care of their instruments is part of being a musician. Returning their ukulele to its proper place will become part of our classroom routine and help create a respectful, organized musical environment.

Most importantly, this project will allow us to spend less time managing and protecting instruments and more time doing what we love—making music! Students will be able to quickly access their ukuleles, practice their skills, play songs together, and experience the excitement of learning an instrument.
