My Project

As we begin the 2026-2027 with eager students ready and willing to learn all that teachers have to offer, yet it begins with having the right materials when learning to build confidence. My students come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds and are always willing to give their best each day that they come to school. I know my students deal with lots of responsibilities outside of school so, to make their day at school a little less stressful, it would be helpful to provide the materials for all students, especially for those students who are not able to provide these basic school supplies for themselves. These supplies will allow the students to be prepared to take notes, complete classwork/homework, and allow them to have student discourse while creating anchor charts for gallery learning walks. Not having to worry about where the next pencil, pen, post-it note or other school supplies will come from will make the students feel appreciated and valued which will encourage the students to have a positive attitude that will foster and deepen the desire to learn.
