My Project

A typewriter will make all the difference in our preK- 8th grade library. Every student can become an author as they put their just-learned letters or polished prose to paper with a typewriter. The instant gratification of putting print to paper and a proud display will make a magical addition to our school library for preK- eighth grade students. I would not be surprised if even an occasional staff member stopped to type out their motto for the day!

Poems or favorite words can travel with them or be displayed on a corkboard.

Writing will become fun with imaginary story starters, favorite words from a read aloud or typing a poem! I love to see students smile as they realize they can write and display their addition on the cork board for all to see!
