My Project

My students participate in a classroom economy where they get to "buy" treats and snacks to enjoy. Students must learn to save and budget their tickets to buy things on Fridays. They get to save and buy items such as snacks and treats to enjoy on Fridays. I want them to learn to determine if the cost is worth the product. This lets them learn to save and to budget their tickets to be able to spend them wisely.

This project and our ticket trade classroom economy will allow my students to practice math facts as well as life skills for budgeting.
