My Project

My students are incredibly resilient, energetic, and hard-working learners who face unique behavioral and emotional challenges every day. In our room, we focus on more than just academics; we work hard on learning how to manage big emotions, navigate frustrations and build self-regulation skills. They thrive when they have access to a safe, predictable environment and the right sensory tools to help them reset. Every single day, they show up ready to try their best, and they deserve resources that support the "whole child."

Students cannot focus on reading, math, or writing when their bodies are overwhelmed or their minds are in distress.

This project will provide essential behavioral support and sensory items, such as a sensory tent, tactile fidgets, and calming tools. These items will help my students independently manage their stress and energy levels. By creating a dedicate space and toolkit for emotional regulation, we can prevent meltdowns, reduce anxiety, and keeps students safely engaged in learning.

Your generous donation will directly give my students the coping mechanisms they need to succeed. With these tools, they won't just survive the school day-they will learn how to navigate their emotions, build lifelong resilience, and truly thrive.
