My Project

As a teacher, there is nothing quite like the excitement of preparing for a fresh group of incoming students—even before meeting them, I already love their endless potential, unique personalities, and the curiosity they will bring through the classroom door on day one.

To give these incoming learners the vibrant, organized, and engaging environment they deserve, I am seeking funding for a few essential interactive learning tools:

Dry Erase Clipboards, Markers, and Erasers: These will transform quiet desk work into dynamic, hands-on learning. Whether practicing handwriting, solving math problems, or participating in quick check-ins during small group instruction, students can show their work instantly, make mistakes without fear, and erase to try again.

Post-it Super Sticky Easel Pad: Visual anchor charts are vital for making thinking visible. These giant sticky sheets will allow us to co-create reading strategies, math models, and community agreements during whole-group gathering time that can easily stick around the room for ongoing reference.

Pocket Chart: Perfect for foundational literacy work, daily schedules, and interactive word walls, a pocket chart gives tactile learners a way to physically move cards around to construct sentences, build vocabulary, and stay organized throughout the day.

Book Bins: Developing a love of reading starts with accessibility. Book bins will help organize our classroom library by reading level, topic, and genre, empowering students to easily choose books that excite them and independently manage their reading materials.
