My Project

To me, teaching is about relationships. I’ve learned over my course of teaching that EVERY student is different! Whether they learn differently or come from a different background, every student is unique. In order to figure out their style of learning, you have to learn them.

Once you establish that relationship, and your student feels you are a safe space for them, everything else falls into place.

When they’re able to come to your room, and actually want to be there to learn, teaching becomes warm. You’re able to sit back and really watch your students grow and excel!

My goal at my new school this year is to bring the same energy I have had with my other schools, and I call it FUN LOVE! Yes, we’re going to have fun while learning, and yes Ms. Lexx is going to love you through every obstacle, but you’re here to prove to yourself that learning can be fun and so that you can love the person you’re trying to become!
