What I Love About My Students

My fourth-grade students amaze me every day with their resilience, curiosity, and determination.

As students at a Title I school, many face challenges outside of the classroom, but they continue to show up with a desire to learn and grow. They love hands-on activities, working together, and celebrating each other’s successes. Their excitement when they discover something new reminds me why I became a teacher. They deserve a classroom filled with opportunities, encouragement, and the resources needed to help them reach their full potential.

How These Resources Will Help My Students

The materials in this project will help transform our classroom into an engaging, organized, and interactive learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.

STEM maker materials and educational games will provide meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that strengthen critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork. A classroom pointer will encourage student leadership and active participation during lessons. Keyboards and a mouse will help students build the technology skills they need for daily learning and computer-based state assessments. Paper will support writing, projects, and everyday classroom activities, while zipper bags will help students protect and organize their books and learning materials. Pencil holders will keep classroom supplies organized and easily accessible, allowing us to spend more time learning and less time searching for materials.
