Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love teaching PreK! We set the foundation for many years to come. We see growth in our students each year and create lasting memories and friendships. Donors help us to be better equipped to teach our students and give them supplies they need to succeed.

These supplies will aid in creating a more inviting and organized classroom where each student can be successful.

The art easel will be used daily and can easily be cleaned and accessible. The dramatic play table can encourage conversations and friendships and pretend meals. The hopscotch mat can be used indoors when it is raining outside to get the energy out. The color play mat will keep the carpets tidy under the sensory bin and art easel. The bins will be used to keep each student's cubby tidy and organized. The popsicle stick people will be personalized by each student and, used to sign in daily with how they are feeling. The other popsicle sticks will be used in a variety of ways and to stay organized. The laminating sheets will be used to keep papers/projects last longer and to create memories for parents.
