My Project

Our Classroom: My special needs preschool classroom is a beautiful, diverse space where early intervention happens every single day. My students face a variety of special needs, including speech and language impairments, autism, and motor delays. They are eager to communicate and play, but they need specialized, hands-on tools to unlock their full potential.

Our Need: To communicate and learn effectively, my students need visual schedules, adaptive scissors, and tactile communication buttons.

Because my students are largely non-verbal or minimally verbal, they need a classroom environment that speaks their language through visuals and objects they can physically manipulate.

The Impact: By funding this project, you are literally giving my students a voice. Visual schedules reduce anxiety by helping them understand their day, while adaptive tools allow them to participate in art and writing independently.
