My Project

I am entering my 7th year of teaching and have the privilege of serving students in special education across a variety of grade levels. Each day, I work to create a classroom environment where my students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Because my students have a wide range of needs and abilities, having the right tools and resources can make a huge difference in their confidence, focus, and success.

I am requesting a classroom rug, squishy fidgets for student support and our prize box, and a small vacuum sweeper to help maintain a clean and welcoming learning space.

A classroom rug will provide a comfortable area for small group instruction, collaboration, and learning activities. Many of my students benefit from sensory supports, and squishy fidgets can help them stay focused, regulate emotions, and engage more successfully during lessons. They will also serve as positive incentives in our classroom prize box to celebrate student effort and growth.

A small vacuum sweeper will allow us to quickly clean up our learning space and help my students take pride in their classroom environment. Having a clean, organized space helps create a positive atmosphere where students feel valued and ready to learn.
