My Project

My students are first graders, who are beginning to learn some new vocabulary and decoding skills in reading. A library would support their learning on day one!

The more opportunities I provide for them to interact with books, means one step closer to their reading mastery!

Students who learn to love reading teach others to love reading as well. This is a great opportunity to bless the next generation of kids with literacy skills.

I am one of the founding 1st grade teachers opening a brand new TMSA campus in Durham and these books would mean the world to these students!
