My Project

My reading intervention room serves students who need additional support in developing foundational literacy skills. These students come to my classroom with a wide range of learning needs, strengths, and challenges. Many struggle with maintaining attention, regulating their bodies, or feeling confident as readers. Despite these challenges, they are eager to learn and deserve an environment that helps them feel safe, comfortable, and successful.

My students participate in small-group and individualized instruction where they practice essential reading skills such as phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.

Because intervention requires sustained focus and active participation, the learning environment plays a critical role in their success.
