This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are vibrant, resilient, and deeply inquisitive learners who enter our classroom each day ready to explore, question, and grow. What I love most about them is their joyful curiosity and their eagerness to dive into deep, critical thinking and hands-on learning. They work hard, support one another, and show up with an incredible enthusiasm for mastering new skills. Because they pour so much of their hearts and minds into their work every single day, keeping them energized, focused, and cared for is essential to their success.

3-Tier Mobile Utility Cart:

Having a dedicated, mobile snack cart creates a clean, organized, and accessible system in our room. It allows us to seamlessly integrate snack time into our daily schedule without taking away instructional minutes. Moving the cart efficiently ensures every student gets what they need smoothly so we can transition right back into learning.

Clear Storage Bins & Baskets:

Organized bins keep our options clear and easy to navigate, empowering students to make quick, dignified choices. Keeping our supplies visible and structured promotes independence, classroom responsibility, and respect for our shared spaces.

Healthy, Shelf-Stable Snacks (Pretzels, Goldfish, Fruit Snacks_

Learning takes immense brainpower, and active young minds burn through energy fast! When students are hungry, their ability to concentrate, participate, and retain information plummets. Providing nutritious, sustained-energy snacks directly combats afternoon brain fog and fatigue. Having food readily available ensures that no child’s learning is interrupted by an empty stomach, allowing them to stay fully engaged, sharp, and ready to tackle complex academic tasks.
