Jumping Into Fitness: Active First Graders

Help me give my students the high-quality jump ropes and hula hoops they need in order to engage in daily fitness instruction, develope gross motor skills, and build healthy lifelong habits.

My Project

My energetic first graders love to stay active, but our current jump ropes and hula hoops have completely aged out. As a proud Title I school, we work hard to provide our students with every resource to keep them healthy, focused, and engaged. My students thrive when they can channel their natural energy into physical health and skill-building activities through gross motor skill development throughout the school day. Instead of just free play, these materials will be used for specific coordination challenges and agility building. My first graders will develop healthy lifelong habits.
