My Project

Giving students the opportunity to choose whether they work while sitting or standing can have a significant impact on their learning. Several of my students naturally stand while working because it helps them stay focused, engaged, and productive. While traditional desks require them to remain seated, many of these students simply do their best thinking and learning when they have the freedom to stand.

Height-adjustable standing desks would allow students to take ownership of their learning environment by choosing the position that helps them succeed.

Having the ability to easily transition between sitting and standing encourages movement, improves focus, and supports different learning styles without disrupting instruction.

The flexible rolling desks would also transform the way we collaborate in our classroom. Instead of losing valuable instructional time moving heavy desks, students could quickly and safely rearrange their workspace for partner activities, small-group instruction, and collaborative projects. This flexibility creates a more engaging, student-centered classroom where learning can happen in many different ways.

Every child learns differently. By providing adjustable, mobile desks, we can create a classroom that meets students where they are, supports their individual needs, and empowers them to do their very best every day.
