Light Up Literacy and STEM!

Help me give my students Help give my students engaging sensory learning experiences with a light table, translucent alphabet letters, and pattern blocks that inspire creativity, exploration, and early learning, reading, and spelling!

My Project

Every day, my kindergarten students walk through our classroom doors full of curiosity, excitement, and endless questions about the world around them. For many, this is their very first school experience. They are learning not only to read, write, and count, but also to work together, solve problems, and grow into confident learners.

Young children learn best through hands-on exploration.

They need opportunities to touch, build, experiment, and discover. A tabletop light table will transform our classroom into an engaging learning space where literacy, math, science, and creativity come alive.

Using translucent uppercase and lowercase letters, students will strengthen letter recognition, build words, develop phonics skills, and gain confidence as beginning readers and writers. The glowing surface naturally captures their attention, making learning exciting and accessible for every child.

Translucent pattern blocks will encourage students to explore shapes, colors, patterns, symmetry, counting, and spatial reasoning while developing creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical-thinking skills through play.

For many of my students, school is where they first encounter enriching educational materials like these. Your generosity will provide meaningful learning experiences they may not otherwise have and help turn everyday lessons into unforgettable moments of discovery.

When you support this project, you're doing more than donating classroom supplies—you are investing in the curiosity, confidence, and future of young learners. Together, we can inspire a lifelong love of learning and help every child discover that the brightest ideas often begin with a little light.
