This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every great lesson begins with a pencil. As we start a new school year, many of my students will rely on classroom supplies to complete daily assignments, take notes, solve math problems, and show what they know.

Pencils are one of the most frequently used—and most frequently replaced—supplies in our classroom.

Throughout the year, they get worn down, lost, or broken, making it difficult for students to stay focused on learning.

Your donation will help provide a steady supply of pencils so every student has the basic tool they need to succeed from the very first day of school until the last.

No child should have to worry about whether they have a pencil to learn. With your support, we can keep our classroom stocked and our students ready to learn every day.
