My Project

My students are 4- and 5-year-olds who come to school each day excited to explore, discover, and learn. I love their endless curiosity, joyful imaginations, and the way they celebrate every new accomplishment. Whether they are learning to recognize letters, count, write their names, explore science, build with blocks, create, or make new friends, they approach each day with enthusiasm and a willingness to try their best.

The resources in this project will give my young learners opportunities to grow academically, socially, emotionally, and creatively.

Our social-emotional learning materials will help students identify and express their feelings, build self-confidence, develop empathy, strengthen friendships, and practice problem-solving skills. Sensory and calming materials will help children learn healthy ways to manage big emotions and become more comfortable using strategies to self-regulate.

The hands-on building, magnetic, science, writing, art, and music materials will encourage curiosity, creativity, fine-motor development, communication, and cooperative learning. As students build, experiment, create, write, and play together, they will practice sharing, taking turns, listening to one another, solving problems, and working as a team. These experiences will help connect their academic learning with important social and emotional skills.

By supporting this project, you are helping create a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, included, and ready to learn. These materials will provide meaningful opportunities for my students to explore their interests, express themselves, develop confidence, and learn alongside their classmates. Most importantly, you are helping build a strong foundation for both academic success and healthy relationships that will benefit my students in school and beyond.
