My Project

My kindergarten students come to school each day excited to learn, explore, and discover the world around them. For many, this is their very first school experience, and they are developing foundational skills that will shape their love of learning for years to come. They learn best through hands-on activities, movement, and visual supports that help bring new concepts to life.

This project will provide materials that my students will use every single day.

A new classroom easel and chart paper will allow me to create colorful anchor charts during our lessons that students can reference throughout the day. These visual supports are especially valuable for my visual learners and English language learners as they build vocabulary, reading, writing, and math skills. The adjustable, mobile easel will also make it easier to move lessons around the classroom so every child can actively participate.

The art supplies and activity trays will give my students opportunities to learn through hands-on exploration. They will use these materials during literacy and math centers, small-group instruction, science investigations, and creative projects that strengthen fine motor skills, problem-solving, and collaboration. Organized trays will help keep materials accessible so students can work more independently and spend more time engaged in meaningful learning.

These resources will not only benefit my current kindergarten class but will continue to support future students for years to come. Your generosity will help create an engaging classroom where every child has the tools they need to explore, grow, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
