Help me give my students a warm environment with the thoughtful wall paper and decor for students who often come to school carrying the weight of behavioral challenges and are frequently connected to unmet basic needs.

My Project

I am respectfully requesting support to transform an outdated, all-white office into a warm, welcoming, and calming environment to support students emotionally. A more organized and inviting workspace will enhance productivity, improve focus, and allow for more meaningful interactions with students. By adding calming wallpaper, comfortable décor, and inviting furnishings, the space will become a supportive environment where students can feel safe, valued, and focused. Calming environments can reduce stress, support emotional regulation, and increase engagement.

The redesigned office will provide an effective setting for individual counseling, psychological assessments, academic testing, and student support services.

Healthy snacks and drinks in a mini fridge will also be available for students who arrive hungry or lack access to adequate nutrition during the school day. Meeting these basic needs helps students regain energy, improve concentration, and better access learning. A welcoming space combined with basic supports can help students regulate emotions, build trust, and return to the classroom ready to learn.
